Madura Island

Madura is an island of Indonesia to the northeast coast of Java. The island consists of an area of approximately 4250 square kilometers and a population of four million, most of whom are ethnically mature. The main language is mature mature, which is also spoken in parts of East Java, and many of the 66 surrounding islands. Madura is administered as part of the province of East Java.

Madura is famous for bullfighting competitions and entertainment, where a rider, usually a child riding on a simple wooden sled pulled by a pair of bulls over a course of 100 meters in ten to fifteen seconds . Several towns on the island to hold races in August and September each year, with a grand finale of the Presidential Trophy held in late September or October Pamekasan.
